Become An Active Member Of Our AFFMA Team

Dear faithful readers,

In accordance with our crowdfunding campaign, and continuing on from our August Newsletter, we would again like to take this opportunity to urge you to become an active member of our AFFMA team. Your valuable contribution will assist with ensuring that our charity survives and continues to provide the high level service it currently offers to refugees and asylum seekers throughout NSW.

AFFMA has helped protect the lives of many refugees, asylum seekers and their families and wishes to carry on doing so.

AFFMA is yet to receive any funding State or Federal Government throughout its existence. We currently rely on your generosity.

Notwithstanding that we do not have access to detailed data as to other not-for-profit organisations, we do not know of any others and believe that we are the only office-based charity in Australia that is run completely by volunteers. This includes all office staff, managers, accountants, lawyers, board members, newsletter staff, migration agents and the CEO. We are all professional people donating our time with a view to providing an excellent service to those in need. Therefore, every single valuable dollar donated goes towards running the charity and helping refugees with their protection visas.

AFFMA is currently running significantly low on funds and, without your help, the continued protection of refugees and asylum seekers is at risk. Whether it is a big or small donation, every contribution means so much to our organisation and to the children, parents and grandparents it goes towards assisting.

What Is $1? 

A dollar no longer goes far in the city of Sydney, however, this $1
is invaluable to AFFMA as it allows for our continued provision assistance to people that have lost their voice and cannot afford legal representation.

A dollar a day donated to AFFMA for 120 days goes towards having such a monumental impact on the lives of the asylum seekers and refugees AFFMA represents that it changes their prospects and futures forever!

Business Donations

As an owner of a business you know that marketing and advertising takes up a large part of your financial budget a year. To thank you for your donation we are offering you the chance to advertise your business for FREE. With a rapidly growing 2000+ subscribers to our newsletter you will be able to advertise your business to thousands of other businesses and potential customers.

What You Will Receive With A Donation Of $500 Or More

• Your business name will appear on our website only, for the next 12 months, as one of our sponsors / supporters;

• We will feature your business name, a picture of your business, and a short description about the nature of your business in our newsletter, for the following months: October; November and December and January.
